Pomegranate in season

Pomegranate is in season. My friend give me several from her garden. They are fresh and juicy ready to be painted.

Goodbye Kitty

Kitty the cat belongs to my daughter in Seattle . This is the last picture I took before my daughter moved to Singapore this summer and Kitty was adopted by a good family. I was quite emotional while painting this from the picture.

Oil 8 x 10 on wrapped canvas.

Cowboy in canyon

I did this painting on the same cowboy post with a canyon background. It seems creates a different feeling. Some of my Underground painting group artists like the other one better. You be the judge.

Lonesome in woods

Cowboy is a subject I love to paint. I have pondered for a while on how to show the lonelyness. My friend artist Martha suggested to put a tree as background. So here it is.
