About Me

My photo
May's Art
I was born in Northern China, grow up in Taiwan and came to United States in 1965 for advanced study. I started my art lesson in 2005 after I retired from a career of a computer programmer for twenty years. Strangely how life takes unexpected cures in the road. Drawing and painting has never been in my life and now became my passion and interests. Over the past few years I have began taking drawing lessons and attended several workshops in oil painting and watercolor. I have been learning to make the shift to the right-side brain mode and see the world in the artist way. I belong to the Associated Artists of Inland Empire and Pomona Art Association. I have since met many wonderful art friends to share my passion and getting advice and guidance in my self-discovery journey to art. It is my hope that I can express myself and my feelings thru the painting with this new state of awareness. I appreciate your comments and suggestions. My email: maymarart@gmail.com
